Prospective Ph.D. Applicants

If you are interested in applying to Stanford and joining our group as a Ph.D. student, please first refer to this page, and mention Thierry Tambe as faculty of interest in your application. Before contacting us about the status of your application, please note that Stanford CS/EE has a centralized admissions process. A committee examines all applications and selects the top Ph.D. applicants. We kindly ask that you do not contact us directly with regard to Ph.D. admissions until after you have advanced to the interview stage, as we will not be able to respond to emails from individual applicants.

Stanford Rotating Ph.D. Students

If you have already been admitted to a Ph.D. program at Stanford and are interested in rotating in our lab, please contact me at ttambe@stanford.edu at least four weeks prior to the start of your rotation quarter.

Stanford Undergraduate and Masters Students 

We are looking for motivated Stanford B.S./M.S. students with shared research interests to join our team. You will either partake in smaller independent projects, or provide supporting role in larger projects. A full report or research paper submission is to be submitted by the final week of your final participating quarter. If interested, please fill out this form.

Post-docs

We are looking for a self-funded and highly driven postdoc to join our group! Experience with mixed-signal/digital VLSI, AI/ML algorithm-hardware co-design, and/or compiler development is required. If interested, please fill out this form.
