Tambe Lab

We are a research group in the Electrical Engineering Department at Stanford University exploring the intersection of AI/ML and hardware systems. We develop algorithm/hardware co-design solutions, chips, and tools to make data-intensive applications run more efficiently on specialized hardware, with a strong emphasis on memory efficiency. In simple terms, we study how to represent data more compactly, move it less, and place it intelligently across differentiated memory systems. More about our current work here.
